Muhammad Bin Salman's visit to Pakistan: Separating facts from fiction

Muhammad bin salman (MBS)'s upcoming visit to Pakistan is the only topic revolving in minds of many in Pakistan thanks, mostly, to Pakistan Tehreek-e-insaf leaders and supporters who want general public to believe that it is really a rare thing for any Saudi Royal to visit or it is even more rarer that someone invests in Pakistan.
So for this reason it becomes necessary for us to really know what facts suggest.

A little knowledge is a dangerous thing
1. PTI keeps on iterating that this is Saudi royal's first visit in more than 40 years (since 1976); This is totally misleading as MBS is not a saudi king and as for royals the visits have been frequent and also if we take MBS as a central figure in Saudi Arabia then even we have been told wrong because Saudi former King, King Abdullah had visited Pakistan in 2006 as a king and in 2003 as Crown prince (same status which MBS has now).
2. We have wrongly realized that this visit of MBS is for him giving us funds and money for our country to prosper that perception is mostly wrong as the fact that he comes along with 40 or more private investors makes it look more of a business visit and PTI govt is just facilitating a foreign businessman with royal welcome nothing more.
3. We are told that PM of Pakistan, Imran Khan was also given unprecedented welcome in Saudi arabia or UAE by having red carpet for him, hence, same warm welcome for Saudi prince, this is also not a big new thing as same even better welcome has been given to rulers visiting Saudi Arabia.✋
4. Another thing boasted vehemently by PTI is that Saudi Prince has offered to buy two power plants in Punjab at any demanded cost, this is as shameful in deep meaning as much it looks attractive from peripheral understanding. Condition by Saudi is that there should be no tender or auction for these selling of projects and for that PTI is considering bypassing PPRA rules.
Interesting to note that on one hand Saudi has offered any price for the projects while ,on other hand, they demand  for no tender to be held irony!😕
5. This visit has nothing to do with Saudis support for Pakistan against India as his visit to India is also due on Tuesday (19th feb)
6.  8 Private hotels reserved for delegates and PM house for MBS (yes same which was made university a couple of months ago 😛), 300 super luxury cars special GYM in university ( yes, you guessed right PM house😛)  and Govt's begging for loans is vividly expressing that long gone are "NAYA Pakistan" tale! and pti's "Riyasat-e_Madinah" slogan.

Sadly, when we discuss this PTI supporters have that same old argument that what about previous governments they fail to realize that their leader has made his way to the Top due to mistakes by previous ones but if he again continues on same path (even worse) then he will not get immunity just because of lack of alternative.
